Care and Elderly Care Administration
Our administration, with approximately 1,500 employees, covers elderly care, disability support, and healthcare. The Rehabilitation Department
The department consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and service technicians. We support five municipal care homes, a short-term unit, and home healthcare for adults over 18 who cannot easily visit the primary care center. Our mission is to collaborate and develop person-centered care and rehabilitation to ensure safety and security.
Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist at Mölndal City, you will primarily work clinically. You will independently and collaboratively identify and assess patients' rehabilitation needs according to the occupational therapy process. Working closely with other healthcare professionals, you will contribute to safe and secure care.
- Conduct individual or team-based assessments of activity capacity and adapt home environments.
- Evaluate, trial, and prescribe assistive devices.
- Instruct and guide family members, home care staff, and nursing personnel in activity-preserving methods.
Qualifications
You are a licensed occupational therapist. Experience in municipal healthcare is advantageous but not required. We are looking for someone who:

A valid B-driver's license is required as driving is part of the role. Proficiency in computers/IT systems and excellent Swedish language skills (both written and spoken) are mandatory.

Your workplace will be located at the Rehabilitation Department's office in Södra Portens business park, conveniently situated near the E6/E20 highways with excellent access by car, bicycle, bus, and train.
