About the School

The Adapted Primary School in Ronneby Municipality covers grades 1–9. The operations are located at two sites: Kallingeskolan and Kuggebodaskolan.

The Adapted Primary School strives to offer a safe, accessible, and stimulating learning environment where learning, participation, community, and well-being are at the core. Our goal is for every student to feel seen, included, and valued. Based on the curriculum for the Adapted Primary School, students may study subjects, subject areas, or a combination thereof. For some students, teaching also follows the regular primary school curriculum in certain subjects, ensuring that education is tailored to each student's prerequisites and provides the best possible opportunities for knowledge development and goal achievement. Teaching is always designed according to each student's strengths, needs, and developmental potential.

The school employs educators, after-school teachers, student support staff, special educators, and subject teachers who work together to give students the best possible conditions for learning and personal development. The school's student health team works proactively and preventively to strengthen students' health, well-being, and school attendance.

At the Adapted Primary School, the after-school program is an important part of students' learning and development. The after-school program and the school collaborate closely.

Responsibilities

Kuggebodaskolan is located 8 km south of Listerby. The school has 21 students in grades 1–9 and a staff of 25. Students work with subject areas including communication, motor skills, perception of reality, daily activities, and aesthetic activities.

The after-school program at Kuggebodaskolan currently has 10 enrolled students before and after school hours. As an After-School Teacher/After-School Pedagogue, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the program. Together with the rest of the staff, you will work on development and learning in the after-school setting based on relevant guidelines as well as the students' needs and interests. You will collaborate closely with after-school teachers at Kallingeskolan's adapted after-school program.

During school hours, you will be part of a team consisting of educators and student support staff. Your task is to facilitate, assist, and support the students. The work will be designed with consideration for the students' needs and prerequisites in learning situations and social interactions. A key part of the role is to stimulate and motivate students to develop their skills and create opportunities for learning. You will also promote close collaboration with other staff at Kuggebodaskolan as well as with guardians.

Qualifications & Conditions

• Certificate of Conduct (mandatory requirement)
• Salary: Monthly salary
• Employment type: Fixed-term position
• Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-08-03 or as agreed
