We are now looking for a Security Clearance Specialist with a focus on Personnel Security for a unique role where your ability to build relationships and trust will truly shine.

What does the role entail?

You and your colleagues in the Personnel Security Group, part of HR, are tasked with ensuring that Swedavia complies with the Security Protection Act and serves as the central coordinator for personnel security work across the entire company. This is a role that requires great integrity and the ability to provide advisory support to the organization on personnel security matters.

Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting security clearance checks and, subsequently, internal investigations with a security connection. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Conducting background checks, basic investigations, security clearance interviews, and other parts of the security clearance process.
• Assessing security suitability in individual security clearance cases.
• Supporting line managers in their follow-up security clearance responsibilities and in handling concerns.
• Security-related internal investigations, including preliminary investigations, analysis, recommendations, and drafting decision documents.
• Managing and developing procedures and methods in compliance with current guidelines.

Together, we work to ensure that our ten airports are safe and secure for everyone – travelers, employees, and customers. You are expected to be on-site at Stockholm Arlanda Airport at least three days a week. Travel to other airports is part of the job and may occur periodically each week, so we believe it is a significant advantage if you live near the airport.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant university education or equivalent experience.
• Experience applying regulations in practice, as well as interacting professionally with people in complex and sensitive situations.
• Experience with investigations.
• Strong communication skills and experience leading individual conversations, e.g., interviews.
• As a person, you are independent, goal-oriented, structured, and empathetic.
• Experience in personnel security work is an advantage.
