About the Position

We need dedicated assistants for one of our younger clients – a girl with a big personality and extensive care needs. As an assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful daily life for both the child and her family.

Our client is a 9-year-old girl with extensive care needs. She is happy and social but needs support with everything in her daily life. She enjoys music, crafts, and walks. During the day, you will accompany the girl to school and participate in her education. After school hours, you will mostly work at the girl's and her family's home. Therefore, it is important that you are good at communicating, have a kind and respectful attitude, and possess strong empathy.

The girl needs help with all aspects of her daily life. She does not have a spoken language but expresses herself through sounds and gestures. She uses a feeding tube and requires respiratory assistance, including a cough assist machine and a sucting device.

The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. A thorough and clear introduction is provided upon employment. Since the client does not have a spoken language and has difficulty expressing herself, you must be creative, sensitive, and attentive to small signals. Experience in personal assistance is an advantage, but personal suitability and care experience will weigh the heaviest.

Requirements and Conditions

• The schedule includes fixed evenings and weekends according to the base schedule.
• The position is available from 17/8 2026.
• A Category B driver's license is required to commute to and from work.
• You must not be a smoker.
• The client prefers female applicants.

Since the girl is under 18, a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the record of convictions) is required before employment. Please mention your availability in your application.
