The Education Administration is responsible for fulfilling the municipality's tasks within the public and voluntary school system for children and young people, as well as childcare services. This includes preschool, preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, after-school centers, youth clubs, libraries, and cultural schools.

Viktoriaskolan is now looking for a teacher for the after-school center or a primary school teacher for Viktoriaskolan's after-school center/primary school.

About the School

The Victoria unit is a school with a preschool class, grades 1–6, and an after-school center. The school's catchment area includes, besides Borgholm's urban area, Tryggestad, Räpplinge, Greby, Strandtorp, and Borgehage. The school and after-school center are centrally located with fantastic opportunities for nature experiences in forests and lakes. At the same time, the school is located in the center of Borgholm, which provides opportunities for field trips in society.

Work Environment and Pedagogy

We place knowledge and development at the center and work purposefully with the knowledge goals set out in the curriculum. Viktoriaskolan is also a training school for Linnaeus University's teacher education, which means we host teacher students when they are doing their VFU (Work-based Education) but also when they are doing their VI-days (Work-integrated days).

We have close collaboration at the school between the different professional roles, and we have high expectations of our students. We believe in a close and good collaboration with the students' guardians.

Job Responsibilities

Teacher for after-school center/primary school is a exciting and interesting assignment. You are an important puzzle piece that, together with us others, creates opportunities for our students to grow and develop in a safe environment. During the upcoming school year, you will be responsible, together with other teachers at the after-school center, for the activities where you offer students a creative and exploratory environment. During school hours, you will work partly in grade 2, where you, together with the class teacher and support staff, support students to reach the goals. You will also be responsible for the subject of art in grade 4.

Qualifications

You have adequate education for the assignment. We place great importance on personal suitability.
