Do you want to help train the medical secretaries and healthcare administrators of the future? One of our educators is going on parental leave, and we are therefore looking for a substitute teacher for the Medical Secretary/Healthcare Administrator education at Vimmerby Folk High School.

As a teacher in our vocational education program, you will be a key figure for our students, responsible for providing them with the theoretical tools required for their future careers. Your main areas of responsibility will include medical documentation, diagnostic classification, quality and improvement work, and supervision of LIA (Learning in the Workplace). The education is taught in an integrated subject manner, and mentorship is included in the role.

About you

We are looking for someone with knowledge and competence within the healthcare sector. Your background should be from working as a medical secretary or healthcare administrator. Pedagogical experience or formal pedagogical education is an advantage.

You are a confident and engaged person with strong collaboration skills. You communicate in a pedagogical manner, take responsibility for your work, and drive processes forward in an independent and structured way. You have the ability to lead and motivate others, as well as create engagement and involvement among people around you. It is important that you can adapt your teaching to the needs of the group and the individual, and that you have a passion for the core ideas of adult education.
