Your focus lies on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trust-based environment.

You will teach students in grades 4–6 in English, Swedish, Mathematics, and Social Studies. In this role, you will support students in their social and academic development. You challenge students to take initiative, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. At our school, you are offered opportunities for professional development, exciting assignments, and work in close collaboration with educators throughout the entire school operation. In addition to your teaching team, you will collaborate with teachers in practical-esthetic subjects, leisure center staff, and be led by a manager who is close to the operations and engaged in the school's teaching and quality.

Your duties also include mentoring students in your class and grade. In your role as a mentor, you have specific responsibility for a group of students, which gives you the opportunity to follow them more closely in their academic development and personal maturity. As a mentor, you inform and keep the student's guardians updated on the student's academic development through regular development meetings.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach grades 4–6 in English, Swedish, Mathematics, and Social Studies. Previous experience as a teacher is considered an asset. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical skills, allowing you to lead and organize your work to create a calm study environment and a good learning atmosphere for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools. Experience with cooperative structures is an asset. Similarly, experience in planning within work teams is considered an asset.

Of course, you have a professional approach and work to build good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school. It is important that you see opportunities in collaboration and believe that all students are everyone's responsibility. You feel confident in your leadership, have the ability to adapt teaching and activities so that students can succeed based on their unique conditions, and work in teams while seeing development work as an important part of your role.

We welcome your application!
