As the Vårdval Laro program under the Patient Choice Act (LOV) ends on April 30, 2026, the Adult Psychiatry Department in Kristianstad is opening a new clinic in Hässleholm. The clinic is scheduled to open on October 5, 2026, and we are now looking for a Medical Secretary who wants to join us in launching this new Laro clinic!
Laro (Medication-Assisted Rehabilitation for Opioid Dependence) aims to prevent relapse, improve social functioning, and reduce medical complications, the spread of infection, and mortality. The treatment is individually adapted and provided based on the patient's needs, respecting the patient's self-determination and integrity.
The Adult Psychiatry Laro clinic in Hässleholm works according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines and has a mandate that includes comprehensive medical care for patients with long-term opioid dependence. Here, we work with medical treatment, counseling, coordination and planning of care and treatment, psychological testing and assessment, as well as simpler somatic care related to abuse, harmful use, and addiction issues. According to the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines, the treatment is also available for individuals with long-term pain problems. The clinic will employ nurses, social workers, psychologists, medical secretaries, and specialist doctors.
The Adult Psychiatry Department in Kristianstad has approximately 400 employees. Despite covering a large geographical area, the department is characterized by closeness and short decision-making paths. Cooperation and collaboration internally within the department, as well as externally with other healthcare partners, municipalities, and user organizations, is well-functioning and prioritized.

Job Description
We welcome a Medical Secretary who wants to join us in shaping and developing our new unit from the start!
We offer a varied job where you help us organize and structure the administrative work at the clinic. The duties include writing medical records via MedSpeech in Melior, registrations in Pasis, as well as handling referrals and team conferences. Furthermore, you book and register visits and are responsible for patient summonses. The position also involves running your own reception, preparing for meetings, telephone service, patient reception, and invoicing for care fees. You will actively contribute to improving routines, working methods, and the development of the unit.
Region Skåne works with several digital services such as 1177, Digital Meeting, TIK (speech recognition), and Tidbok online. We hope you are interested in developing this work together with us. Depending on your interest and existing knowledge, there is also room for development in other areas.
In the team, you collaborate with different staff categories and are a great support to your colleagues. We value good cooperation between our different workplaces to streamline flows and reduce waiting times for our patients. You will have close collaboration with medical secretaries at the Addiction Care in Kristianstad.
Qualifications
We welcome you if you have a completed education in Health and Medical Administration (80p Higher Vocational Education/400p Higher Vocational College) or equivalent training as a medical secretary. Additionally, you have good knowledge of medical terminology and good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We consider it meritorious if you have good computer skills and knowledge of Melior and Våps/webPasis.
