About the Department/Unit

We at Business Support continuously develop working methods, processes, and digital support to create the best possible conditions for the university's education and research. Here, you have the opportunity to contribute to this development while growing professionally.

The Team

You will become part of a portfolio office and, together with your colleagues, prepare, develop, and prioritize initiatives in KTH's IT portfolio. You will collaborate closely with other stakeholders. You will also become part of a cross-portfolio team with experienced IT leaders, offering excellent opportunities for knowledge exchange and competence sharing.

Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for independently leading both small and large development and implementation projects with a focus on technical solutions. You drive projects from planning to execution and are responsible for ongoing follow-up, reporting to steering groups and management, as well as evaluation and the development of improvement measures. Furthermore, you drive change initiatives and ensure clear communication and anchoring among relevant operations.

In this role, you will also:

• Coordinate and align work between internal operations, technical teams, and external suppliers.
• Create conditions for effective project teams and well-functioning collaboration between relevant parties.
• Plan, lead, and follow up on workshops, as well as coordinate requirements management, including needs assessment and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Relevant academic education in IT or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways that the employer considers comparable.
• Several years of experience leading complex IT projects.
• Experience driving multiple parallel initiatives simultaneously.
• Good technical understanding of infrastructure, server operations, and larger IT environments.
• Ability to create structure and progress in complex contexts.
• Very good communication skills and the ability to express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing, as this is required in daily work.

• Experience with IT projects within the public sector.
• Understanding of differences, opportunities, and limitations in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Knowledge of and experience working according to LOU (Public Procurement Act).
• Experience in supplier management and coordination between internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience leading work in requirements management, needs analysis, and business-oriented change work.
• Knowledge of IT service management models and ways of working such as ITIL and/or PM3.
• Relevant certifications in project management and/or change management.
