Are you a psychologist and want to make a difference for families with children – with the possibility to combine this with work with adults? We are now looking for you who want to work as a psychologist at our Primary Health Care Centre Västra Vall in Varberg.

About the position

You will work as part of our psychosocial team, where the role combines work within child health services (CHS) corresponding to approximately 40–50% and work with adult patients in primary care for a full-time position. For those who wish, there is an opportunity to work solely with the CHS assignment on a part-time basis.

As a psychologist with us, you will:

• Conduct developmental assessments.
• Provide parental support.
• Supervise CHS nurses.
• Perform assessments, diagnostics, and individual treatment for adult patients with mild to moderate mental health issues.
• Work with iCBT (internet-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and other digital tools.
• Collaborate closely with other teams, both within the primary health care centre and externally, to ensure holistic care.

About the workplace

The primary health care centre offers a pleasant and family-like atmosphere where everyone in the team helps each other. You will have close proximity to other professional categories as the centre consists of doctor and district nurse clinics, blood sampling, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology, social work, child health services, and specialist clinics for asthma/COPD and diabetes.

Qualifications

You are a licensed psychologist. Previous experience in primary care work is considered an advantage. Good computer skills as well as good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing are requirements for the position.

You have a strong interest in people and see good treatment of patients and colleagues as a matter of course.
