We offer an interesting, varied, and responsible position where you, as a junior doctor (underläkare), will have the opportunity to work alongside various staff categories.

Typical duties for a junior doctor at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) clinic. You will receive regular clinical supervision from a specialist. As a doctor at the CAMHS clinic, you are part of the medical team within CAMHS Halland. The position includes some on-call duties at our inpatient unit located in Halmstad.

This is a fixed-term position for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

About the Workplace

CAMHS (BUP) is tasked with providing assessment and treatment for children and adolescents aged 0-17 with psychiatric conditions requiring specialist-level interventions. At the clinic in Halmstad, we work in a multidisciplinary team with employees who have high competence and experience in the field. Currently, several specialists in child and adolescent psychiatry and several ST-doctors (specialists in training) work at the clinic. The clinic is characterized by a clear patient focus and a good collaborative climate.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a junior doctor before or after your internship (AT/BT). Previous experience working in CAMHS or in related specialties is positive, but not a requirement.

Since you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other agencies, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing (C1 level) and the ability to listen and adapt your communication based on the counterpart. You are flexible in your working style and have good skills in collaborating with all professional roles. Furthermore, you are skilled at planning and prioritizing your work.
