Here, you have the opportunity to combine work close to school health services with a development-oriented assignment in a centrally organized psychology group. Together, we develop working methods, share competence, and contribute to an equitable school health service where psychologists' combined expertise is used where it does the most good.

We are now looking for a school psychologist primarily based at Kullavik, Malevik, and Särö schools.

The role of school psychologist with us

As a school psychologist, you are an important part of the schools' student health work. Together with the principal and other professions in the student health team, you work to create the best conditions for students' learning, development, and health.

Your main assignments are at Kullavik, Malevik, and Särö schools, where you work closely with school leadership, the student health team, and other staff. Through consultation, supervision, counseling, and competence-developing measures, you contribute psychological expertise that strengthens the schools' work and development.

The school psychologists are centrally organized within the unit Psychological Support and Development. This means that you are part of a professional collegium where you jointly develop common working methods and use the group's combined expertise based on the needs of the operations.

In addition to your main schools, you may contribute to assignments at other schools or participate in administrative development work together with other professions within Child and Student Health. Through a flexible working method, you contribute to increased quality, equity, and patient safety throughout the municipality.

Currently, there is development work underway within the unit focusing on further developing working methods, clarifying assignments, and strengthening the quality and equity of child and student health work. Here, you have the opportunity to influence how the school psychologists' assignments develop forward.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and enjoys working both independently and together with others. You have a consultative approach and create trusting relationships with school leadership, colleagues, guardians, and other partners. You are receptive, analytical, and have the ability to see both the individual's and the organization's needs.

You appreciate combining work close to operations with development work and want to contribute to developing working methods that strengthen student health. With a structured and solution-oriented working method, you translate your assessments into measures that create value for both individual students and the organization as a whole.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Licensure as a psychologist
• Experience working as a psychologist
• Category B driver's license (the position may involve travel between schools)

Meritorious qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge in developmental psychology and a good understanding of the relationship between cognitive development, executive functions, and learning, for example from further education or work in the field
• Further education and experience in supervision
• Experience in planning and implementing competence-developing measures for staff, such as lectures and workshops
• Further education and experience in organizational psychology work, such as organizational development, leadership support, or consultation
• Work experience from school or preschool

About us

You will become part of the Psychological Support and Development unit, consisting of a unit manager and 11 school psychologists. Here, we work closely together and create good conditions for collegial support, external supervision, experience sharing, professional development, and joint development of our working methods.

Through regular meetings, competence development, and development work, we utilize each other's competence and contribute together to an equitable child and student health service in Kungsbacka Municipality.
