Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a school nurse for the Tånga area for a position that is divided between two of our schools, Montessoriskolan and Tröingeskolan.

As a school nurse, you are part of the schools' student health team, working in close collaboration with other staff. The student health service works primarily health-promoting and preventive to support the students' development towards the goals of education.

Your main tasks are therefore promoting and preventive health work at both individual, group, and organizational levels, with good opportunities to influence and develop the content of the work yourself. In the health-promoting and preventive assignment for the students, this includes health visits, health talks, vaccinations, value-based work, lifestyle issues, ANDT (Alcohol, Narcotics, Doping, Tobacco), simpler healthcare interventions, and reception together with the school doctor.

You will receive an introduction to the work and a mentor who guides and supports you in daily work. Professional development takes place jointly with other school nurses in the area and is led by the Medical Responsible Business Manager. We use Prorenata as our documentation system.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with further education as a district nurse, pediatric nurse, or school nurse.

In your assignment, it is important that you have good cooperation skills, that you are responsible, and can prioritize your work based on the current situation. In addition to being secure in your professional role, you enjoy working with people. You communicate easily, build relationships, and see development opportunities in everyone.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working as a school nurse, worked with children and young people, and worked in our documentation system Prorenata.
