The Role of Assistant Nurse with Us

In the role of assistant nurse with us, you are responsible for providing care and social support tailored to each resident's individual needs. By offering attentive and professional interaction, as well as planning and carrying out daily activities, you contribute to creating a safe and pleasant existence for the residents.

For us at the care and residential home, this means that with great attentiveness and commitment, we provide each resident with the care and support they need, based on individual needs and approved decisions. We put our residents at the center while working together with closeness to one another.

Your schedule will be set for days, evenings, and every other weekend. You are expected to perform delegated health and medical tasks based on your position and the operational needs.

Your Profile

You are a person who enjoys working with people. You contribute to the sense of security through reliable and professional interaction. You are comfortable handling technical solutions in daily work and have the ability to create participation in everyday life for those we serve. As a person, you thrive in flexible work environments and can quickly adapt to changing circumstances. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained or studying assistant nurse
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent position with start date according to agreement.

Within the Department of Care & Support, all employees in home care and care and residential homes are employed at 100% capacity, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their capacity to the desired level based on operational needs.

Before an employment offer is made, a satisfactory extract from the police record must be presented. Prepare yourself as soon as possible by ordering an extract from the police record. You must present Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities (e-service | Swedish Police Authority). Background checks may be conducted before employment.

As of July 1, 2023, "assistant nurse" is a protected professional title.

Therefore, when employed as an assistant nurse, you must present proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title. Please apply now if you do not already have it.
