The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer interventions based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This can involve providing older people with a secure and meaningful everyday life, supporting persons with disabilities, or being there for children, young people, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work with health and medical care where your professional judgment truly makes a difference? Here, you will encounter a daily life filled with variety, personal responsibility, and a meaningful mission where the human being is always at the center. We are now looking for nurses who want to help develop future care in the municipality.

As a nurse, you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and following up on health and medical care interventions within the municipality's areas of responsibility. You work with patients in ordinary and special housing, within functional support, and in social psychiatry, depending on your placement.

The work responsibilities include, among other things:

• Independently conducting medical assessments and interventions
• Collaborating with teams, relatives, and other actors regarding patient care
• Supervising and delegating tasks to care staff
• Documenting according to current legislation and guidelines
• Actively participating in quality and development work within the operations

The work takes place during the day, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are confident in your professional role, take responsibility for the quality of care, and have a good attitude towards people. You need to be able to make your own decisions while collaborating with others in the team. You also have the ability to document according to current laws and routines.

We also look for you to have:

• Nursing license
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Category B driver's license is required for the position

Experience from municipal health and medical care is meritorious.
