About Villa Soldalen
In September 2023, Vardaga opened the newly built elderly care home Villa Soldalen, located in Eketånga near Söndrum in Halmstad. Villa Soldalen offers permanent housing with a focus on both somatic care and dementia care. There are 60 apartments in total. The facility has common areas such as a banquet hall and a small rooftop terrace, a large garden with growing opportunities, and possibilities for both relaxation and activity. Through our holistic concept for elderly care, "The Good Day," we provide our residents with individualized care based on care, integrity, and choice.
You have a group manager who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operations.
As an employee at Villa Soldalen, you are incredibly important!
Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see every person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to interact with people.
"It is mainly about meetings with people, being able to adapt and read what people need. You get colleagues and learn a lot about cooperation! Many funny things often happen, activities, and excursions. It is a job with a lot of laughter." – Jirapinya Muangsiri
You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist.
With the heart in the right place
With us, you get to work in a strong culture where we are driven by our vision: We make the world a little better, one person at a time. It is extremely important that you share our vision and our four values:
Respect: Here, everyone has the right to a dignified life with physical, mental, and social well-being.
Responsibility: Here, we have employees who dare and want to, and managers who listen and lead.
Simplicity: Here, it is easy to influence and to be an employee or customer.
Knowledge: Here, we reflect, learn from each other, and utilize everyone's competence.
Together, we continuously work to ensure that our values permeate our interactions, both with each other and with everyone who lives here.
"Here there are good and clear values and goals that have guided me all the way to be able to perform my work in the best way." – Raquel Castaneda
Your experience and knowledge
We would prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant or have experience from elderly care and have worked a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.
We believe that you:
Are attracted to varied work and enjoy meeting people in different situations.
Are a creative person who dares to think for yourself and take responsibility.
Enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues.
