About the role

Nord-Lock is a global industrial group with operations in several countries worldwide. The company is a market leader in solutions for secure bolted joints and delivers products to customers within sectors such as energy, infrastructure, manufacturing industry, and transport. In Mattmar, one of the group's key production and development units is located, focusing on innovation, quality, and technical expertise.

As a Project Manager, you will become part of the technical organization, responsible for driving development and investment projects from concept to implementation. You will lead cross-functional project teams consisting of engineers, specialists, purchasers, and other key functions, with responsibility for the project schedule, economy, resources, and results.

You will be employed as a consultant by Academic Work and work on behalf of Nord-Lock. The assignment is long-term, and for the right person, there are good opportunities for further development within the company.

Responsibilities

In the role of Project Manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and monitoring technical projects within Nord-Lock's operations. You ensure that projects are carried out according to set goals and act as a cohesive link between the project's various stakeholders.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Leading projects from feasibility studies and planning to implementation and handover
  • Coordinating and leading cross-functional project teams
  • Being responsible for the project schedule, budget, resources, and reporting
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered according to set goals for quality, time, and cost
  • Managing contact with suppliers and other external partners
  • Monitoring project progress and communicating status to relevant stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of project methods and working practices

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a university degree or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant technical field
  • Has several years of experience in project management
  • Has experience in managing project budgets, financial follow-up, and reporting
  • Has good skills in planning, prioritizing, and driving work forward towards set goals
  • Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, as this is required in daily work

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience from the manufacturing industry
  • Experience leading investment or development projects
