Employment: Consultancy assignment via Jefferson Wells
Scope: Full-time
Duration: September 1, 2026 – August 30, 2027
Other: Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis from week 32. The position will be filled as soon as we find the right candidate.

About the assignment
As a consultant via Jefferson Wells on-site at Jämtkraft, you will take on an important role in a company undergoing an exciting digital transformation, where correct technical documentation is crucial for safe and efficient operations.

As a Documentation Engineer, you will belong to the Heating Plant department and work closely with colleagues in operations, maintenance, and project activities. You will be responsible for ensuring that technical documentation is correct, up-to-date, and easily accessible for the business.

You will become a key part of the work developing processes and tools for document management, as well as quality-assuring documentation in connection with projects, renovations, and ongoing maintenance.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Handling, registering, and archiving technical documentation.
  • Working in the documentation system Master-IDEas.
  • Reviewing, revising, and updating technical drawings.
  • Handling CAD drawings within electrical, mechanical, and construction disciplines.
  • Working with plant structures according to SSG and KKS standards.
  • Supporting operations, maintenance, and project activities with documentation issues.
  • Participating in the development of working methods, processes, and digital tools.
  • Quality assurance of documentation in connection with projects and investments.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have a technical interest and are motivated by working systematically with documentation in a complex technical environment. You are meticulous, responsible, and enjoy collaborating with many different stakeholders.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • A university degree in engineering with a relevant focus or equivalent experience.
  • A few years of experience in documentation work within industry, energy, or similar technical operations.
  • Experience in revising and updating technical documentation and drawings.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good IT skills.

Meritorious experience:

  • Documentation systems, e.g., Master-IDEas.
  • CAD systems such as Elmaster, Autodesk, or equivalent.
  • Technical documentation within electrical and/or mechanical fields.
  • DCC document coding.
  • Plant registers and classification systems such as KKS and SSG.
  • Collaboration between operations, maintenance, and project organizations.
