Fixa Assistans is a family-oriented care agency with extensive experience in personal assistance for both children and adults. We are headquartered in Karlshamn and operate throughout southern Sweden. Through a close and engaged approach, we create security, community, and joy in everyday life – for clients, relatives, and assistants.

Care for every individual is a natural part of our work. Therefore, we place great emphasis on matching clients and assistants based on competence, experience, and personal chemistry. Our goal is to build long-term relationships and a work environment where everyone feels comfortable and valued.

We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a 7-year-old girl in Hörvik. The position is a maternity leave replacement starting immediately. You will work concentrated shifts of 12 hours for 7 days every other week (uneven calendar weeks). The role involves double staffing during both day and night shifts. You will work in the girl's home with the family.

We are primarily looking for candidates who are assistant nurses, childminders, or have relevant experience with disabilities. However, we also place great value on personal chemistry and character traits, so do not hesitate to apply even if you do not have the aforementioned education or experience.

As a person, you must be responsible, sensitive, meticulous, easy-going, able to open up to others, and above all, have great patience. You must be calm, secure, and retain a childlike spirit. As a personal assistant in the family, you must be family-oriented and approachable, as there are siblings in the household. The family also has pets. The job involves helping the girl with all aspects of her daily life, meaning full care with significant responsibility, but also plenty of play and fun. You must be a non-smoker.

The nature of the work requires you to be fluent in speaking and understanding Swedish, for example, being able to understand and read various instruction and checklist documents, as well as follow established routines.

A valid driver's license is required as you will be driving a minibus provided for the assistants.

In your application, we would like you to describe yourself as a person, including your traits and hobbies, and attach your CV and references.

Selection and interviews will take place on an ongoing basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible, no later than 2026-07-31. Please reference B40.1 in your application.
