About the role

In the role of Process Engineer, you belong to the technical organization and work closely with sales, project management, production, as well as external suppliers and customers. You are involved throughout the entire project chain, from the bidding and design phases to commissioning and tuning of facilities, acting as a technical support both internally and externally.

The work involves developing and quality-assuring process solutions for Malmberg Energy's biogas plants. You size equipment and systems, create flow diagrams, and ensure that the solutions maintain high quality from a functional, economic, and safety perspective. The role also involves conducting and documenting risk analyses and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety requirements.

You participate early in customer dialogues and support the sales organization in quotation and bidding work through technical assessments, calculations, and cost estimates. The work is project-oriented and cross-functional, with great opportunities to take responsibility and develop within the role.

The location is in Yngsjö, with some flexibility for remote work.

Your profile

You are a university-educated engineer in chemical engineering, energy engineering, or equivalent, and have a few years of experience from the process industry, for example within petrochemicals, chemicals, energy, pulp, or food. Alternatively, you have built up equivalent competence through relevant professional experience.

You are proficient in process design, technical calculations, and working in project form, and feel confident communicating technical solutions to various audiences.

As a person, you are analytical and solution-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your deliverables. You have a business-minded approach and enjoy combining technology with customer and business value. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and thrive in a role with many contact points.
