Corrpal Systems in Ystad manufactures, sells, and installs machine lines for material handling in the corrugated board industry. We are a leading player in our niche, and our strength lies in our Swedish quality and our ability to flexibly solve our customers' various needs.

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Designer who wants to become part of an engaged, goal-oriented, and supportive team. Today, the team consists of six colleagues who work closely together, share their knowledge, and help each other succeed. Together, we take responsibility for delivering high quality in every project and creating solutions we are proud of.

About the Role

As a Mechanical Designer, you will develop, design, and adapt mechanical solutions for our machines and equipment. By translating customer and functional requirements into well-thought-out and manufacturable designs, you contribute to high quality, efficient production, and reliable deliveries to our customers.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Develop and design mechanical solutions for machines and machine lines
• Create 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation
• Participate in requirement specifications and concept development together with the project team
• Adapt designs to meet specific customer needs
• Ensure that designs comply with current standards, directives, and internal guidelines
• Collaborate with production, assembly, service, purchasing, and automation to ensure manufacturability
• Participate in prototype construction, testing, and verification
• Contribute to the improvement and standardization of mechanical solutions

Experience and Qualifications

We would like you to have

• 3–5 years of work experience in machine design, machinery manufacturing, or similar
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• Good understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes
• Strong skills in CAD (Inventor and Autodesk Suite)
• Fluency in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience with ERP systems (Monitor G5)
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
