You will be located within the Culture and Leisure Department at Tomelilla Municipality, becoming part of an organization characterized by collaboration and development. The role involves close cooperation with local associations, businesses, and other municipal departments. We offer leadership based on trust and openness, where it is acceptable to make mistakes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Project Manager, you are responsible for, and actively work on, the planning, coordination, and implementation of the Tomelilla Exhibition 2027, where activities take place throughout the year. You lead the project from planning to completion, supported by a small working group.

The role is varied and requires that you enjoy working both strategically and operationally. You plan and coordinate activities while also being present on-site during implementation and contributing where needed.

As Project Manager, you drive collaboration with associations, businesses, and municipal departments. Together with various stakeholders, you plan and execute program points that contribute to a vibrant and well-executed event.

The role also includes:

• Responsibility for the project budget and financial follow-up
• Monitoring, documenting, and evaluating the project implementation
• Compiling and final reporting of the project

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in project management or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have previous experience leading projects, planning, and executing events, and you are accustomed to working with communication related to various activities and arrangements. Previous experience with financial accounting is an advantage.

You have good computer skills and knowledge of Office programs.

You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is an advantage.

It is an advantage if you have good knowledge of Tomelilla Municipality and its associations, businesses, and local actors.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

You thrive in a role with many contact points, have a strong service mindset, and work solution-oriented even when the pace is high. You are structured, stress-resistant, and capable of driving multiple processes in parallel.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date August 2026 or as agreed, end date: 2027-12-31.
