Do you want to work in a developing and broad accounting role in a listed group? Then you now have an exciting opportunity! Here you will work close to the operations and have close cooperation with the finance manager and other colleagues within the function. We are looking for you who are willing to work as a consultant on a longer assignment of approximately one year with good opportunities to become employed.

About the role

Our client is an international technology company that develops and manufactures advanced solutions within electric drive technology and motion control. The company develops its products in-house and collaborates closely with both customers and international colleagues within the group. On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an accountant for a long-term consulting assignment with good chances of permanent employment with our client. As an accountant, you will have a central role within the finance function and you will, among other things, work with ongoing accounting, accounts receivable, cash flow forecasts, and participation in monthly and annual closing. The role involves broad contact areas such as contact with customers regarding payments and invoices and with banks, auditors, and authorities. About 70 people work at the office and you will belong to a team of four people including the finance manager, to whom you report.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

  • Responsible for accounts receivable in the business system D365
  • Cash flow reporting
  • Tax and VAT declarations, periodic summaries
  • Ongoing monitoring and follow-up of overdue invoices
  • Handling of work orders and inventory
  • Account reconciliations
  • Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
  • Reporting in the consolidation system HFM
  • Reporting of financial data e.g. order backlog, cost analysis
  • External reporting to the Tax Agency, auditors, SCB
  • Work on improvements in processes and routines within accounting
  • Act as a sounding board and support colleagues within the finance function

We are looking for you who

  • Have relevant education in economics
  • Have several years of professional experience in accounting and accounts receivable
  • Have experience working in small or medium-sized companies with broad areas of responsibility
  • Possess advanced skills in Excel
  • Have very good skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have

  • Experience from manufacturing companies and inventory accounting
  • Knowledge of the business system Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
