About the Role

As a Controller, you hold a central position within the finance function, working with accounting, financial reporting, analysis, and follow-up. The role combines operational and analytical tasks, offering you the chance to work broadly across the entire financial process. You are responsible for key parts of ongoing accounting and closing processes, while supporting the business through financial analyses, reporting, and decision-making materials. The role involves numerous stakeholder interactions and close collaboration with both management and operations. We are looking for someone who sees development as a natural part of everyday life and wants to contribute to creating smarter, more efficient, and data-driven working methods.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Work with accounts receivable/payable, ongoing accounting, and closing processes
• Prepare financial reports and annual reports
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling work
• Monitor business results, key performance indicators (KPIs), and financial development
• Produce analyses and decision-making materials for management and operations
• Contribute to the development of internal controls, financial processes, and governance
• Identify and drive improvement initiatives within digitalization, automation, and AI
• Provide qualified support on financial matters to various parts of the business
• Participate in development projects and other strategic initiatives

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• An academic degree in economics or finance
• At least five years of experience in qualified accounting work
• Experience with independent closing processes
• Experience from Big 4 accounting firms
• Experience in financial reporting, follow-up, and analysis
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling
• Very good skills in Excel and other Office programs
• Experience with financial systems
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in process development, automation, or change management
• Experience using AI tools in your work
• Experience from financial operations or regulated environments
