Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of people with dementia? We are looking for an engaged specialist nurse for Solgården in Indal! At Solgården, you will have the opportunity to work in a meaningful role where you use your specialist competence to help develop future eldercare. Solgården is a specialized housing facility with 49 apartments spread across six units on two floors. Here live people with dementia and somatic illnesses. The facility is centrally located in Indal, with proximity to both nature and public services. How you contribute in the role of specialist nurse
Your responsibilities:
- You are an active part of daily operations and perform care-related tasks together with colleagues.
- You contribute to natural learning in everyday situations.
- You work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
- You get the opportunity to use your specialist competence to create value for our care recipients, together with other professions, based on a person-centered approach.
- You play an important role in mentoring, competence development, and proactively working with care staff within your specialist area.
- You work comprehensively and strategically together with the unit manager and other key functions in the joint quality and development work within dementia care.
Your competence and experience
The role requires a completed upper secondary education and complete education in care and support with passing grades in all courses in the national education package for the Care and Support Program, or equivalent older or adult education programs. You must have at least five years of combined full-time professional experience in care and support, or relevant experience from the last five years.
Additionally, a state-approved university college degree as a specialist nurse (200 higher education credits) with passing grades in all courses is required. Specializations in dementia, palliative care, care and support for the elderly, elderly with multiple illnesses, or rehabilitation and health. You need to have good communication skills to provide clear information to users, colleagues, and relatives, as well as the ability to report and document in journal systems. Basic computer skills are required to handle various operational systems.
We are looking for you who can see events in a larger context, think long-term, and understand the consequences of decisions. You are responsible, pedagogical, and unpretentious in collaboration with others. You are initiative-taking, calm, and professional, independent, and receptive, and contribute with a positive and constructive spirit in the work group. A genuine interest in working with the elderly and a person-centered approach with the residents' best interests in focus is important. You should have a driver's license and car if you do not live in the immediate area, as bus connections are insufficient.

Salary: Monthly/hourly wage. Individual and differentiated wage setting applies.
