About the Department

Psychiatric Ward 50 offers acute psychiatric inpatient care for patients with a known psychosis diagnosis or suspected psychosis. The department's focus is on providing integrated inpatient care for patients with psychosis in collaboration with the psychosis outpatient clinic. On Ward 50, the care team works together to provide each patient with individually tailored care and support. The work group is characterized by a good working climate and strong positive cohesion. We strive to be a versatile, balanced, and responsive team characterized by openness and accessibility.

We are now looking for a nurse to join the team! The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start, subject to agreement.

Responsibilities

As a nurse on the ward, psychiatric nursing is your area of responsibility and specialty. Your duties include, among other things:

• Responsibility for patient-facing work
• Participate in and lead rounds and care planning
• Supportive conversations
• Mentor and support patients in discovering and developing their own resources
• Documentation
• Medication management
• Supervise students

As a nurse on Ward 50, you will have an exciting and varied job where you work both independently and as part of a cohesive multidisciplinary psychiatric care team. In daily work, the focus is on finding solutions in the present moment, which gives you room to be creative and flexible in your work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a registered nurse
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have further education in psychiatry
• Have experience working in psychiatric care
