Timrå Municipality is looking for you who want to work as a casual staff member in elderly care homes or home care services. We are looking for you who want to be a "on-call" substitute but with the possibility to work every week.

The elderly care sector consists of four elderly care homes, six home care groups, and a night patrol within home care. In Timrå Municipality's elderly care, we have close teamwork with the professionals surrounding the user.

Within all our operations, your tasks include, among other things:

Nursing care may include tasks such as:

  • Hygiene and support during toilet visits
  • Dressing
  • Cleaning and laundry
  • Cooking/feeding

Delegated tasks you may perform:

  • Medication handover
  • Insulin administration
  • Tube feeding
  • Wound care
  • Catheter care

Home Care

In Timrå Municipality's home care groups, work is performed during the day, evening, and weekends. There is also a night patrol that performs visits at night to users with home care services.

In the work, you help people in their homes. The user's needs and approved interventions determine your tasks.

To work in home care, delegation for medication handover is a requirement. In several of our home care groups, a driver's license is also a requirement.

Care and Nursing Homes (Elderly Care Homes)

Our elderly care homes are staffed around the clock, which means that as staff, you may work days, evenings, weekends, or nights.

Working in a care and nursing home is similar in many ways to working in home care, but the users you meet here often have a greater need for care and nursing than those you meet in home care. You also work here in the user's home, and it is their needs that determine your tasks.

To work in an elderly care home, we assume that you can receive delegation for medication handover.
