Litsongan Preschool is now looking for an Early Childhood Educator (Preschool Teacher/Assistant) for a fixed-term position. Litsongan Preschool is located in Klösta, approximately two kilometers outside the village center of Lits. The preschool is run as a parent cooperative, with the association's board as the main employer. We have close collaboration between staff, guardians, and the board, with the children's best interests always in focus.

Litsongan has two departments with age-homogeneous groups: 1–3 years and 3–6 years. There is close collaboration between the departments. We work based on the idea that all children are everyone's children, and we strive for a work climate characterized by community, flexibility, and care. We help each other across departments and professional groups to create the best conditions for both children and colleagues.

The preschool is housed in a charming old school building with large, pleasant rooms and generous spaces for play and learning. Located in a nature-rich environment, outdoor activities are a natural part of every day.

The work is based on a holistic view of children and their needs, where care, development, and learning form a whole. We are now looking for an Early Childhood Educator who has a research-inclusive approach and wants to help create exploratory, supportive, and developmental teaching. We seek a colleague who, together with other pedagogues, wants to shape a practice where children are allowed to discover and learn in thoughtful environments, with systematic quality work as the red thread to highlight children's learning with the aim of creating a high-quality preschool.

The preschool has a kitchen where our own cook prepares all meals from scratch daily using fresh ingredients. We see mealtime as a natural and important part of our practice, with the goal that food should be delicious, nutritious, and appealing.

A day as an Early Childhood Educator at Litsongan

As an Early Childhood Educator at Litsongan Preschool, you work together with your colleagues based on the preschool's guiding documents and the work team's responsibilities. With the curriculum as a starting point, you work with the children and give them the opportunity to develop their abilities. Together with your colleagues, you will work to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment where every child gets the opportunity to develop based on their prerequisites. The practice is designed so that learning and teaching are adapted and varied according to the children's interests, prerequisites, and needs.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have experience working in a preschool or school
• Have good insight into the preschool's guiding documents and curriculum
• Are responsible, flexible, and have good collaboration skills
• Want to contribute to a positive work climate and close collaboration within the work team
• Have experience with low-affective and individualized work
• Have digital competence

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience with or knowledge of TAKK (Total Communication)
• Experience with systematic quality work
