About the role:

As an auto mechanic at Fordonsservice Halland, you will work with a variety of tasks including service, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of passenger cars and light transport vehicles.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Service and maintenance of passenger cars
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Repairs of engines, brakes, chassis, and other mechanical components
• Replacement of wear parts and preventive maintenance
• Documentation of completed work
• Quality control and ensuring that the work meets the highest standards

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a confident and independent mechanic. You are motivated by solving problems, enjoy working with your hands, and take great personal responsibility for ensuring the car leaves the workshop in top condition. Since the role involves customer contact when necessary, it is important that you are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience working as an auto mechanic (required)
• Automotive technical education or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience
• Good familiarity with working with modern diagnostic tools and troubleshooting systems
• Valid driver's license (Category B) (required)
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
