The production department at Halmstads Energi och Miljö AB is responsible for the operation of several production facilities where we produce electricity, district heating, and district cooling.

We are now looking for:

Shift-Working Operations Technician for a two-year fixed-term position

As a shift-working operations technician, you play a key role in the daily operation of HEM's production facilities for electricity, district heating, and district cooling. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for controlling, monitoring, and optimizing production to ensure safe, stable, and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Controlling and monitoring production facilities to ensure safe and optimal operation.
• Writing operation reports, keeping logs, and reporting deviations.
• Participating in preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Contributing to revision work and various development projects.
• Supporting the department's quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental work.

The position is a two-year fixed-term contract, and the work is scheduled in shifts.

Your Background

We are looking for you who have an operations technician education or other education and work experience that the employer considers equivalent.

It is an advantage if you have experience from waste incineration and knowledge of computerized control and monitoring systems.

As a person, you are responsible, proactive, and thrive working both independently and in a team. You have natural drive, see what needs to be done, and are eager to contribute to the development of the business. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

A Category B driver's license is required.
