Your daily life as a Property Technician

You will become part of the Operations District Halmstad within Region Sydväst. The district will consist of 12 operations technicians, one property technician, and an operations manager who together are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the region's property portfolio.

As a property technician, you work with supervision, maintenance, and corrective maintenance of properties and technical installations. You are responsible for carrying out assigned tasks with high quality and contribute to safe, functional, and long-term sustainable property operations.

The role is varied and involves both independent work and close collaboration with colleagues, contractors, and other business representatives. You become part of a team where knowledge sharing, development, and professional interaction are important parts of daily work.

As a property technician, you will among other things:

• Perform supervision, maintenance, and corrective maintenance of properties and technical installations.
• Troubleshoot and carry out repairs on property technical installations.
• Independently carry out assigned tasks according to current laws, regulations, and internal routines.
• Be responsible for the implementation of agreed work tasks.
• Document and deliver data for follow-up of completed work.
• Participate in the development of operation plans for the current property portfolio.
• Contribute technical support in maintenance and investment projects.
• Execute assignments within planned maintenance and additional services.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Upper secondary education or other education that the employer considers equivalent in areas such as property operations, ventilation, heating, cooling, or fire alarms.
• Several years of work experience in property operations with a focus on supervision, maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
• Experience in troubleshooting property technical installations and the ability to carry out repairs.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
• Category B driver's license

It is meritorious if you have:

• Vocational training as a property caretaker.
• Certificate for Hot Work.
• Lift training (lift card).
• Fall protection training.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Knowledge in control and regulation technology/property automation.
• Training as a facility caretaker for fire alarms.
• Experience operating machinery.

About the employment

The position is a permanent employment and may start with a probationary period. The location is Halmstad. As a permanent employee, you will be mobilized for war service. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security clearance with register check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
