The role of Electrical Operations Engineer with us

As an Electrical Operations Engineer with us, you will work within the entire area of the Department of Technology. This includes everything from electrical installations for broadband, drinking water, waste, and sewage. If needed, you may also step in as an electrical technician.

You ensure responsibility for electrical installations by:

• conducting continuous and periodic control and monitoring of the installations
• being responsible for labeling, documentation, and access
• creating and updating the register of the Department of Technology's electrical installations
• developing and informing about maintenance and operation instructions
• developing guidelines regarding electrical safety
• ensuring that operation, maintenance, and renewal of electrical installations and electrical rooms are carried out
• ensuring that risk analyses and self-inspections of electrical installations are performed and that work on installations is carried out by authorized personnel
• ensuring that electrical safety regulations and directives are followed

Your profile

You are accommodating and attentive in your interactions. You have a good ability to coordinate work, work systematically, and focus on quality. You are practical, take initiative, and thrive in proactive work. You see improvement work as a natural part of daily operations. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who have:

• upper secondary education with a complete program focused on electricity.
• several years of relevant experience in the field.
• a valid driver's license (Category B).
• good knowledge of the Electrical Safety Act and Ordinance as well as the Electrical Safety Regulations.

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working as an electrician in industry.
• authorization AL according to ELSÄK-FS 2017:4.

You will be part of the Drinking Water unit. We are a group of 10 people consisting of operations technicians, electrical technicians, and IT technicians. In addition to responsibility for drinking water production, the electrical technicians and IT technicians are also significant for getting wastewater to the treatment plants and ensuring it is treated. We get along well together and combine laughter, seriousness, engagement, and warmth in a pleasant way.

Our offer and other information

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date as agreed.

Background checks may be conducted prior to employment.

On-call duty is included, which requires a maximum commute time to Kungsbacka center from home of 60 minutes.
