Our Operations and Your Role

Working as a nurse in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) is an exciting role where you will meet people in many different situations. You will also become part of a skilled team that supports and helps each other, while you work independently. Here, you can expect a varied job with challenging tasks.

The position involves working with children, adolescents, and their families together with the rest of the team. You will meet children and adolescents individually during visits, as well as together with their families/networks. The work is varied, and as a nurse, you may also work with telephone advice and clinic visits for follow-up and care. The role also includes collaboration with other CAP units, partner care providers, adult psychiatry, and social services.

There is close collaboration with the team's doctors regarding medication follow-up, and regular ward rounds are scheduled for medication-related issues. You will be assigned a mentor and receive regular supervision. Additionally, nurses at the clinics meet regularly for method development.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist education in psychiatry and experience working with children and adolescents.

What We Offer

The position is a permanent employment starting from August 31st. We are located at Kungsgatan 38, right in the city center, and working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday. You will receive an introduction and a mentor during your first year with us.
