Welcome to Lillsjögården in rural Almunge! Here you will find a workplace where collegial collaboration and care for our residents are in focus. Together with colleagues, licensed personnel, and the operations manager, you will work to create the best possible conditions for those living with us.

Your assignment
As an assistant nurse, you will work with varying tasks. You play an important role in direct contact with our residents, providing personal care and service efforts that make a difference in their daily lives. You work every day to provide good care with great consideration for the residents' individual needs.
The work includes performing delegated health and medical care tasks, documenting according to the Social Services Act, and collaborating with colleagues, licensed personnel, and relatives. You are expected to establish and maintain good contact with residents, relatives, licensed personnel, and other important contacts for the residents. It also includes working with palliative care in the final stages of life and actively participating in the team work around the users.
Your background
To be considered for the position, you must be a trained assistant nurse with a protected professional title according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements. You must be able to communicate independently and without hindrance in Swedish, both orally and in writing. This is a requirement to ensure patient safety and correct documentation in the work.
You feel confident in performing delegated health and medical care tasks. If you also have experience working within elderly care, we see this as an advantage.
As a person, you are calm, stable, and secure even when situations change or the pace increases. You have the ability to maintain focus and make well-considered prioritizations.
You collaborate well with others and have an attentive and respectful approach. You communicate clearly, contribute to good relationships, and handle challenges in a constructive manner.

As of July 1, 2023, "assistant nurse" is a protected professional title. To use the title assistant nurse, you need to provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you were permanently employed as an assistant nurse on July 1, 2023.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, the EEA, or Switzerland, you must also be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
Employment with Uppsala Municipality may involve being placed on the war establishment (crisis staffing).
Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.
Salary type: Monthly salary.
