The unit is responsible for home healthcare for the residents of Knivsta Municipality. The assignment includes working with individuals in ordinary housing and assisted housing. This means you will have a varied workday where, together with colleagues, you contribute to creating security, independence, and quality of life for our patients.

Here, you work in a team together with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and administrators. We offer a workplace with dedicated colleagues, visible leadership, and good opportunities to participate in developing the operations. The work is scheduled during daytime hours, Monday to Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of physiotherapist, you perform rehabilitative health and medical care tasks within the municipal assignment. With us, this involves, among other things, working to enable individuals to live as independent a life as possible.

You are responsible for assessment, training, evaluation, and follow-up related to the musculoskeletal system and respiratory function. The assignment also includes supervising and delegating care staff in their work with patients. Therefore, it is important that you are confident in your professional role and comfortable taking a leading and supportive role towards others.

You will work closely with occupational therapists, nurses, and nursing assistants, and be an important part of the team's joint work regarding the patient. You may also be involved in the development of the operations in the form of representative roles related to your professional role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist and have a commitment to municipal health and medical care. You have a genuine interest in working with people and meet each individual based on their needs, conditions, and wishes.

A B-class driver's license and good computer skills are required for the position. Experience with municipal health and medical care or work in activity systems used within the area is considered an advantage.

You are also a good communicator and find it easy to collaborate with patients, relatives, colleagues, and care staff.
