What are my responsibilities? ⚡👷‍♀️⚒️

As a technician with us, you maintain critical infrastructure; you build and service the communication networks of the future. The tasks mainly consist of building building and office networks, setting up outlets, and installing equipment – such as screens or projectors – needed in an office environment.

Examples of tasks:

• Run fiber and copper networks
• Install outlets and access points
• Install equipment in conference rooms
• Run cables for data networks to new workstations
• Install cable ladders
• Terminate copper connections
• Troubleshooting
• Simple electrical work

In some cases, lighter electrical work, welding, and blowing of fiber may also occur. The work is usually performed indoors.

As a technician, you have many different contacts, partly with our production planner who distributes and assigns work to available technicians, and partly with the customer when needed. Sometimes you need to ensure that you procure what is needed to solve the customer's problem, in which case communication is key.

You time-report daily via phone or computer and report continuously during and after completed work. Naturally, you maintain close dialogue with our production planner and our customers so that they are updated on how the work is progressing.

You work primarily in Luleå but travel may occur as we always help each other in the team when needed.

To succeed in this role, we believe you:

• Have a high school education with a technical focus or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways
• Have a genuine interest in technology
• Have good Swedish in speech and writing, as well as a good understanding of English
• Have a B-driver's license for manual transmission

As a person, you are engaged and do what is required to solve the task and are driven by maintaining high customer satisfaction. You are independent and have an easy time communicating with both colleagues and customers. The position is security-classified, so approved security clearance and Swedish citizenship are requirements.

The advertisement concerns a permanent full-time position starting with a 6-month probation period.
