We are looking for Process Operators for our dairy in Vimmerby. As a Process Operator, you will work with the reception and processing of milk, evaporation, and drying of milk, along with related tasks. All production equipment is controlled by modern process systems. You will be part of independent teams and report to the Team Leader Process. The working hours are on a continuous five-shift schedule.

Some of the most important tasks include:

  • Monitoring and handling of machine and process equipment from start to stop.
  • Actively participating in improvement work.
  • Performing specified analyses.
  • Reporting and documenting production and product data in our systems.
  • Performing hygiene and cleaning tasks according to current requirements and instructions.

The operations at our dairy place high demands on following routines and hygiene requirements in accordance with current laws and directives from authorities.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

You preferably have post-secondary education with a focus on process technology/automation and several years of experience working with production equipment (including control systems) and process optimization, preferably within dairy technology or food production. The operation is fully automated, which requires good knowledge, intuition, and understanding of automatic processes. Experience with evaporation, drying, and automatic processes within the food industry is an advantage. You have passing grades in Swedish, English, and Mathematics.

As a person, you are responsible and meticulous, with the ability to plan and, in collaboration with others, make quick decisions during production changes. You have the ability to build good relationships both internally and externally, and you thrive both collaborating with your colleagues and independently tackling tasks. To thrive in the role of Process Operator, you also need to have the desire to continuously develop and enjoy working in shifts.
