About the position
In the role of personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in their daily life. Personal assistance is an intervention according to the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Every person granted assistance is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the customer's needs. You value the customer's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly. The customer's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with mobility, personal care, training, communication, as well as daily chores and activities both inside and outside the home.
We are now looking for you who fit the following:
- Want to work for a 30-year-old man living in Gävle
- Have good knowledge of Swedish
- Enjoy working at an active pace with many activities
- Can work 24-hour shifts
- Tolerate pets
It is also meritorious if you:
- Have experience from previous work in personal assistance or equivalent work
- Have experience with autism or PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Working hours and degree of employment
The current form of employment is "as long as the assistance assignment lasts". The degree of employment is approximately 80%.
Working hours at the customer's home are 24-hour shifts between 09:00–09:00 (waiting time at night), both weekdays and weekends. On average, 7 days per month.
Start date
According to agreement.
Being employed at Humana
A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
