Age Controller / Mystery Shopper (19–24 years) with Manual B License – Stockholm

As an age controller and Mystery Shopper, you will work in a team of two, traveling around the country on so-called "routes". You will drive company cars and stay in hotels during these assignments. The company covers all costs, including accommodation and fuel. Therefore, it is important that you have a manual B driver's license and good driving experience to feel safe on the roads. Routes can vary between 2–5 days in a row, meaning your working hours and nights away from Stockholm will vary depending on the month and assignment. While solo work occurs, you will mostly work in a team.

During your work, you will visit shops, cafes, restaurants, and similar establishments to conduct "mystery purchases" of age-restricted items such as games, tobacco, medicines, and alcohol. The goal is to measure whether staff request ID and follow regulations.

The role starts with an introduction in early September. You must be available during this period to begin the job.

Age Requirements and Legislation

The assignments involve age checks according to the Alcohol Act (Chapter 5, Section 5) to ensure alcohol is not sold to minors. To be a mystery shopper in the age range where age control is required, you must be 20 years of age or older (or in a closely related, age-representative age for the legal purchase of alcoholic beverages). This ensures that all mystery purchases are conducted by an age-representative controller and that all shops are assessed on the same grounds. The age checks are carried out for preventive purposes.

Mystery Shopping

In addition to age checks, the role includes anonymous quality measurements. You will act as a regular customer and follow a specific scenario to assess criteria in the customer experience. We help our clients develop quality and sales while ensuring that established routines are followed.

Qualifications

  • You have a manual B driver's license.
  • You have good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • It is an advantage if you are skilled at written expression, have an eye for detail, and have experience with report writing.
  • Experience in service roles or cash register work is considered an advantage.

Working Hours and Conditions

The position can be combined with light distance studies or other flexible part-time jobs. The workload varies monthly depending on client assignments. Working hours are primarily during the day, but evening and weekend work may occur. You need to be able to work approximately 3 weeks per month and be willing to stay away from home (Monday–Friday) during the routes.

Application

Applications are only accepted via the application portal. Selection is ongoing, and you will be contacted by phone if you proceed to an interview.
