Are you a quality-driven person with an eye for detail and a passion for improvement? We are looking for a new QA team member to join our family-like team! Welcome to an exciting role!

About the role

We are a leading player in the manufacturing of sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals, focusing on liquid preparations for the European market. With over 60 years of experience, we offer flexible solutions and high quality, with a vision to enable a better life. We currently have around 90 employees and are a wholly-owned subsidiary of MedCap (a listed investment company within Life Science).

As a QA specialist, you are responsible for quality support across the entire organization, providing advice and support on quality matters to all departments. The work involves various types of QA tasks with a focus on Supply Chain and warehousing. You will become part of a team consisting of seven engaged employees who help and support each other. No two days are alike, and decision-making paths are fast here.

Responsibilities

Among other things, you will:

  • Handle and document deviations from established quality standards and processes, as well as perform and document validation activities and risk assessments.
  • Participate in designing and maintaining quality documentation such as instructions, product and preparation regulations, and product specifications.
  • Be responsible for quality control aimed at identifying and addressing causes of deviations or problems to improve processes and prevent the recurrence of the same issues in the future.
  • Participate in development projects to integrate quality aspects into new products and processes. A natural part of the role is to stay updated on current laws, regulations, and standards to ensure the organization complies with them.

We are looking for someone who has

  • A university degree in a relevant field such as chemistry or pharmacy, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience from production and/or quality work.
  • Fluent Swedish and very good English skills, as these are required in the operations.

It is a bonus if you…

  • Have a strong understanding of quality and improvement work.
  • Have a good understanding of GMP regulations.

To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:

  • Excellent teamwork skills as the role requires communication with many internal and external stakeholders. Being open and positive in your work is crucial for creating an environment with good collaboration and efficiency.
  • A structured and methodical approach. This helps ensure that details are not overlooked and that all aspects of quality control are handled efficiently.
  • You are responsible, which forms the foundation of your work, where trust and reliability are important for maintaining the quality of products and processes.

Other

We offer a secure and pleasant workplace with a focus on our employees' well-being, including flexible working hours, wellness benefits, and scheduled wellness activities during working hours. We organize joint wellness activities, and we also have a small but functional gym available for use.

The work is based in Sundsvall, Matfors, and is performed on-site.

The position is a permanent employment starting as agreed.

We look forward to receiving your application!
