About the Role

We are now looking for experienced welders for one of our clients in Örnsköldsvik – a technologically advanced company within the defense industry.

Here you will work in a modern production environment with high quality and precision, where you become an important part of the manufacturing of advanced products. The role involves project-based work where attention to detail, safety, and collaboration are in focus.

You are employed by us at Dala Industrisupport and work on-site at the client's premises, with good opportunities for long-term employment.

Note: The work takes place in a secured environment. This entails requirements for approved background checks, drug tests, and security clearance.

Job Responsibilities

As a welder, you work with the manufacturing and joining of components according to drawings and specifications.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Welding using various methods (primarily MIG/MAG and/or TIG)
  • Reading drawings and working according to technical documentation
  • Self-control and quality work
  • Post-processing and inspection of welded parts
  • Collaboration with assemblers, operators, and production engineers

The work places high demands on precision and adherence to quality requirements.

Location: Örnsköldsvik

Scope: Full-time

Working Hours: Daytime, two-shift system may occur

About You

We are looking for you who are a skilled welder with a strong focus on quality and an interest in industrial manufacturing. You are meticulous, responsible, and thrive in a structured environment where safety and quality are crucial. You have the ability to work both independently and in teams, and contribute with a positive and solution-oriented approach.

Qualifications
  • Experience of welding in industry or workshop (MIG/MAG/TIG)
  • Knowledge of reading drawings
  • Good understanding of quality and tolerances
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good physical fitness

Merits

  • Valid welding licenses
  • Experience of working within the defense industry or other high-quality production
  • Forklift and/or overhead crane certificates
  • Experience of working in project form

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
