About the Client Company

Do you have experience in welding or an education in the field? Then you might be the perfect person for us. We are currently looking for a manual welder for our client in Örnsköldsvik, with a focus on both manual and semi-automatic welding.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with welding using the stick, TIG, and MAG methods. You will read drawings, perform visual assessments of welds, and rectify welding and dimensional errors when necessary. You will collaborate closely with production engineers and welding specialists to develop new method approvals and provide improvement suggestions to make the work even better. The work requires you to be flexible and adapt to the current needs of production. You need to enjoy working both independently and in a team, and feel comfortable taking responsibility for maintaining high quality throughout the entire process.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is accustomed to reading drawings and feels confident in their work. You are proactive, enjoy finding solutions, and are creative when needed. At the same time, you are meticulous, responsible, and appreciate order and structure. You work well with others but are also capable of taking independent initiative. In your application, please feel free to describe which welding methods and materials you have experience with. Having a forklift or crane license, hot work certificates, or other qualifications is a plus. To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have a high school education within the industrial program with a focus on welding. You need to have good command of Swedish, both spoken and written, and have experience in manual welding, reading drawings, and quality assessment. It is also beneficial if you are used to working in production systems and feel comfortable with computers.

Additional Information

You will be employed by Konsultia and work on-site at our client's premises in Örnsköldsvik. The assignment is long-term, and for the right person, there are excellent opportunities for permanent employment with the company in the future. The position is full-time, and working hours vary between daytime and two-shift patterns, depending on the department and assignment. The advertisement will be active during the summer and will be processed further at the end of August.
