Your Role

In this role, you will have technical responsibility for one or more customer projects, both national and international. We deliver to airports around the world. You will be part of a team with project managers and other technical leaders, who are given great trust together.

You and the team will be involved throughout the entire lifecycle of the system. You will work with requirements management, documentation, testing, validation, and system configuration, as well as on-site installation and commissioning at the customer's location. This gives you the opportunity to travel to various airports around the world.

In our work, it is important to build long-term trust with our customers. For you and your colleagues, this means close contact with customers, end-users, software developers, and other internal and external stakeholders.

The team you will join currently consists of 17 systems engineers and 4 project managers with various competencies and backgrounds, split between Växjö and Gothenburg. Your workplace will be in Växjö or Gothenburg.

Your Profile

For this role, we would like you to have at least 3 years of experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar field. We also appreciate if you have experience and a strong interest in technical and complex software systems, such as Kubernetes.

It is a great advantage if you enjoy planning and are accustomed to prioritizing effectively. This is because you and the team will work in one or more customer projects with different deadlines. Sometimes things may not go as planned; it is then important that you can quickly adapt to changed conditions.

We believe you are motivated by continuous learning and are good at finding creative solutions to unexpected challenges. In this role, it is important to be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as well as in English. A driver's license is also an advantage to be able to travel to different airports in Sweden.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
