We have been granted project funding to strengthen the transition to the new Social Services Act and are now looking for a Family Therapist who wants to help shape the future of social services.

Here, you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of social services. You will become part of an operation where development, collaboration, good treatment, and the child are in focus. We offer varied and meaningful work alongside dedicated colleagues who want to make a difference for children and families in Hultsfred Municipality.

You will be part of the outpatient care within IFO Barn and Familj and join a dedicated team of family therapists. We provide support to children, young people, and their families through both individual interventions and structured treatment programs.

The new Social Services Act means increased focus on early, accessible, and knowledge-based interventions. Through this project position, you will play an important role in developing our working methods and creating conditions for more families to receive the right support at the right time.

Your new responsibilities

Your main task is to work with interventions without individual needs assessment (IUB) and associated documentation. If needed, you may also receive assignments from social secretaries.

The work includes, among other things:

• planning, implementing, and documenting IUB interventions
• providing support and treatment to children, young people, and families on assignment from social secretaries
• collaborating with social secretaries and other professions
• contributing to the development of the operation's working methods based on the new Social Services Act
• ensuring the operation offers early, accessible, and knowledge-based interventions

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university education of at least 180 higher education credits in a field relevant to the assignment, such as social work, social pedagogy, or another education deemed equivalent by the employer
• experience in treatment work with children, young people, and families
• good documentation skills and ability to express yourself well orally and in writing
• good computer skills
• Category B driver's license with manual transmission

Merits

It is an advantage if you have education or experience in one or more of the following methods:

• Signs of Safety
• PYC (Parenting Young Children)
• Repulse
• Tryggare Barn
• Motivational Interviewing (MI)
• Functional Family Therapy (FFT)
• or another evidence-based method for working with children, young people, and families.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and has a genuine interest in change work with children and families. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and have good collaboration skills. You are flexible and see opportunities in development work and change.
