About the role

At HS Konsult AB, you will have an independent and dynamic workday where you collaborate closely with both clients and colleagues. You contribute expertise and advice while helping clients strengthen and develop their businesses. As an accounting consultant with us, you will have a broad and varied role with responsibility for your own client portfolio, mostly consisting of smaller owner-led companies, limited companies, and sole proprietorships.

The majority of your clients are located in the area around Storvik. Since the work is seasonal, we offer great flexibility – during peak season, you will spend more time in the office, while the low season offers good opportunities for hybrid work.

Responsibilities include:

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Leading and developing your client assignments with responsibility for quality, efficiency, and profitability.
• Preparation of financial statements and annual reports
• Tax returns for both businesses and private individuals
• Consulting within economics and business development
• General tax advice

About you

We are looking for an accounting consultant who wants to take responsibility, contribute their skills, and be involved in developing our working methods and processes. At HS Konsult AB, you will have a central role within our economic advisory services and the opportunity to make a real difference.

You have a strong business drive and a genuine desire to create value for clients through professional and business-oriented advice. You thrive in a consulting role with significant personal responsibility and appreciate the opportunity to build and develop long-term client relationships. Furthermore, you work independently and take clear overall responsibility for your own client assignments. As a person, you are structured and detail-oriented, and accustomed to creating order and driving processes forward with quality.

Qualifications

• Relevant education in economics and accounting
• At least 3-5 years of experience as an accounting consultant at a firm
• Experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns is required
• Experience working with both limited companies and sole proprietorships
• Good knowledge of accounting software such as Fortnox and Capego

Location is Storvik, but the role offers flexibility through the possibility of hybrid work. This means you can also commute from nearby towns such as Gävle, Avesta, Hofors, Falun, and Sandviken.
