About the assignment

We are now looking for you who want to make a real difference! To one of our users in Ale Municipality, we are seeking engaged personal assistants. In this role, you act as the user's "hands and feet" and help with daily tasks that the user cannot perform themselves.

The tasks are varied and include everything from regular household chores and assistance with personal hygiene to physical transfers to and from a wheelchair. Since animals are a central part of the user's life, the role also includes working in a stable with horses, as well as taking medium-sized dogs for walks every morning and afternoon – regardless of the weather.

Your profile

To thrive in this role, your attitude and personality are the most important factors; previous experience as a personal assistant is not a requirement.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is positive, flexible, and not afraid to jump in where needed with various practical tasks.
• Has good physical fitness, as the work involves some physical tasks and lifting.
• Is a true animal lover who enjoys stable environments and dog walks in all weather conditions.
• Has a good understanding of the English language.

Working as a personal assistant is a unique and important trust-based assignment where the user's needs and wishes are always prioritized. Your goal is to support the user to achieve the highest possible degree of independence. It is crucial that you realize you are the user's extended arm and enabler – not a substitute or representative.

About the employment and conditions

• Working hours: Daytime work Monday to Friday. Shifts start at 08:00 or 08:15 and end at 16:00.
• Employment level: Very flexible! We offer everything from on-call employment to part-time (20%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 80%) up to 100%, entirely according to agreement.
