ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an engaged case handler who wants to help ensure a legally secure and professional licensing and supervision activity in Lycksele Municipality.

As a case handler at the authority unit in Lycksele Municipality, your main tasks will consist of processing and investigating matters regarding licenses for alcohol service and tobacco sales, as well as planning and conducting supervision in accordance with the Alcohol Act. You will collaborate with other authorities such as the Police Authority, the Swedish Tax Agency, and the Rescue Services. The duties include checking the personal suitability of license holders, the companies' finances, and the source of funds financing the operations.

The role of an alcohol case handler also includes investigating financial matters such as reviewing annual reports, accounting, limited company regulations, and auditing rules. Working hours are primarily during the day, but weekend, evening, and night shifts are common in connection with supervision.

The position can also be combined with other tasks within the authority unit, such as administrative duties like statistical reporting, registration of documents, and preparation of certain matters for decision-making. This gives you the opportunity to broaden your competence and have a varied role with insight into several parts of the authority unit's operations.

We are looking for you who are meticulous, communicative, and stress-resistant. You have the ability to prioritize and reschedule among several important tasks and be efficient in your case handling. You have good judgment and see the big picture, taking into account the broader perspective in planning, action, and decision-making. You are meticulous, responsible, and have a good sense of legal security.

We would like you to have several years of current experience in case handling and investigation, current experience in exercising authority, and a very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both in writing and speech. Meritorious is if you have experience and knowledge of financial auditing, such as work with annual reports, accounting rules, limited company regulations, and auditing rules. Knowledge of the Alcohol Act and experience in handling and investigating according to the Alcohol Act is also meritorious.
