OnePartnerGroup is now looking for an experienced Interim Controller for one of our clients in Umeå. The assignment covers 50% – 100% and suits you who thrive in an operational role where you can combine controller work with ongoing financial tasks and contribute to developing efficient working methods.

The assignment starts in early August 2026 and runs through December 2026, with the possibility of extension.

About the assignment

As an Interim Controller, you will become part of the client's finance department and be responsible for both operational and analytical financial matters. You will work closely with the business operations and serve as a key support to managers and leadership.

Responsibilities

The role includes, among other things:

• Budget planning and ongoing budget monitoring
• Prepare and facilitate financial decision-making materials
• Design and develop checklists and routine descriptions for the finance department
• Lead finance assistants
• Responsible for interim accounts and quarterly reporting
• Conduct monthly reviews together with department heads and analyze financial results
• Handle ongoing accounting and bookkeeping
• Administer supplier agreements and supplier payments
• Produce financial reporting for the board and owners
• Keep up to date with the company's development as well as current laws, regulations, and changes within finance and accounting

We are looking for you who

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in qualified financial work, preferably in a controller role or similar position. You have a good understanding of accounting, budgeting, and financial monitoring, and are accustomed to working independently with significant personal responsibility.

To succeed in this role, we believe you are:

• Structured and detail-oriented
• Analytical and solution-oriented
• Communicative and confident in dialogues with managers and other stakeholders
• Accustomed to prioritizing and creating structure in operational financial work

Experience in leading or coordinating financial work is an advantage.
