Your role:

In the role of Accounts Payable Assistant, you will become a key person in our supplier accounting function. You are responsible for handling and following up on invoice flows with high quality and accuracy, while also providing support and guidance on invoice-related questions to the business. To thrive in this role, you should appreciate a varied daily routine where structure, problem-solving, and good collaboration skills are key success factors.

Here, you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to improvements in processes and working methods together with knowledgeable colleagues. At the same time, you will build valuable relationships through collaboration with employees and functions throughout Boliden.

Your responsibilities:

  • Code incoming supplier invoices.
  • Review invoices for correct information, including invoice number, date, reference, amount, and coding.
  • Create and administer payment files to the bank.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and check that goods or services have been received before payment is made.
  • Contribute to the development of processes and working methods within supplier accounting.

Your team:

The position is a permanent full-time role located in Boliden. You will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and become part of a strong team of 15 people characterized by engagement and collaboration. With development as a guiding star, you will jointly be responsible for the central accounting function within supplier accounting for all of Boliden Minerals' operations.

Your contribution:

We would like you to have an academic education or a University College Diploma (YH) in economics, or alternatively, that you have built up equivalent competence through relevant work experience. In addition, you have a few years of experience working in supplier accounting.

To succeed in the role, you are proactive, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You are curious about future solutions and open to change. We are looking for someone who is responsible, structured, and meticulous, with the ability to quickly notice deviations in flows. You are also solution-oriented and have an easy time engaging and bringing others along in improvement work.

Requirements for the role are that you master both Swedish and English in speech and writing. Since travel to our other facilities may occur, you must also hold a B driving license. It is also an advantage if you have experience working in Microsoft Dynamics 365, IBM Maximo, or Basware.
