When the Norrbotniabanan railway is completed, with its travel center in central Robertsfors, the commuting time between Robertsfors and neighboring cities will be halved. Robertsfors Municipality has just over 750 monthly employees.

Urban Planner/Urban Architect at the Community Planning Office

We are now looking for an urban planner/urban architect who wants to help shape the municipality's development. Here, you will work closely with colleagues, citizens, and decision-makers, giving you the opportunity to follow the planning process all the way from idea to implementation.

Your Assignment

As an urban planner/urban architect, you work with physical planning and strategic development of the municipality. You work with detailed plans and planning issues and collaborate with both internal and external actors to create long-term sustainable solutions.

The assignment includes among other things:

• leading and driving detailed plans through the entire planning process according to the Planning and Building Act (PBL)
• producing, analyzing, and quality-assuring planning materials and investigations
• collaborating with authorities, consultants, developers, politicians, and citizens
• participating in and driving development projects within areas such as housing development, infrastructure, and rural development
• contributing to the municipality's long-term urban planning

The tasks can be adapted based on your experience and competence.

Your Competence and Experience

Requirements

• University education in physical planning, urban planning, urban architecture, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Some years of experience working with urban planning.
• Good knowledge of the Planning and Building Act (PBL).
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Merits

• Experience of municipal planning work.
• Experience of working in a politically governed organization.
• Experience of project management or development projects.
• Knowledge of GIS or other digital planning tools.

The Employment

Permanent 100%.

Salary Range

40,000 SEK - 50,000 SEK. Final salary is determined based on education, experience, and the overall assessment of your competence.
